The Ministry of Energy, with the support of the PPP Center at the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, JSC "National Electric Networks of Kyrgyzstan" (NENK), and the Green Energy Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, announces a bidding for the selection of a private partner for a PPP project to create a solar power plant with a capacity of 100 to 150 MW in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region. The International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, acts as the lead consultant for the PPP project transaction. The project will be implemented within the framework of a PPP, and a private partner will be selected as a result of a two-stage competition: a request for qualifications and the bidding winner selection.
In the first stage, participants in the competition will submit a request for qualifications (RFQ). Companies or consortium that meet the legal, technical, and financial requirements set forth in the RFQ document will be able to apply in accordance with the terms that will be detailed in the RFQ document. Only participants who pass the qualification selection will be allowed to participate in the next stage of the competition.
The envelope with the application for the qualification selection, along with the attached documents, is accepted at the following address: Bishkek, Isanova 87, or by mail through a courier service by 17:00 hours on May 17, 2024.
