THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL PPP CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD IN BISHKEK, KYRGYZ REPUBLIC ON SEPTEMBER 28-29, 2023

The Second International PPP Conference will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic on September 28-29, 2023, the topic is "Connecting Efforts: common Goals, Regional Sustainability". The conference is a continuation of the 1st International Conference in Bishkek held on October 5-6, 2022 and is aimed to showcase the results and sustainable progress of the PPP programme in kyrgyz republic and in the region as a whole while setting new goals of public private partnerships for the development of green and sustainable infrastructure, using the public privatepartnerships model within inclusive economic development agenda.

The conference will share regional experience and discuss the topical issues or solving the challenges arising in achievement of the SDG`s under mutual cooperation in the area of PPP. Conference participants will share their expert opinion and views on the current status and prospects of PPP development, taking into account the current regional, political and environmental challenges in the world.

A key objective of the conference is to continue the dialogue on implementing infrastructure development through PPP’s for achieving concrete results in environmental sustainability, water and energy security, as well as financial accessibility through regional private investments.

Developing the sphere of social public-private partnership:In parallel, the conference will be emphasized on another important topic of developing the sphere of social public-private partnerships. Social investments aimed at the development of social infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other areas that directly or indirectly affect the quality of life of the communities, as well as contribute to the creation of sustainable development that takes into account the needs of today's generation without impacting future generations.

The participants of the conference will also discuss the role of innovation and technological development in PPP projects by highlighting existing opportunities for cooperation between the public and private sectors in areas such as information technology. In addition, discussions will be held on the the relevance and feasibility of implementing small and innovative PPP projects in countries where PPP`s are just emerging and in the early stages of development will also be discussed.

The conference will discuss the future prospects of PPP`s in the region and share new opportunities for cooperation and further development with participants discussing the best practices used in the PPP mechanism in sectors such as green energy, transport, natural resources and digitalization.
